Weekly Sangha Gatherings
Weekly In-Person Saturday Morning Sangha

As of January 4th, 2025, David will be leading an in-person weekly sangha gathering from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in south Boulder. This sangha gathering is offered on a drop-in basis and there’s no need to register in advance. The format will generally include a brief opening, a 40-minute period of silent meditation, some announcements, a short break for socializing, and a dharma talk. Both beginning and experienced meditators are welcome to attend.
For the four Saturdays in January, David will offer a series of talks on The Four Brahma Viharas (The Four Divine Abodes): Lovingkindness, Compassion, Sympathetic Joy, and Equanimity.
Starting in February, David will invite guest teachers to lead some of the Saturday morning gatherings. He will continue to periodically lead the group and to give dharma talks. On the Wednesday before each Saturday sangha meeting, David will send an announcement to the IMCC email list with information about the speaker and topic for the coming Saturday.
If you would like to be added to David’s contact list to receive periodic announcements and updates, please send your name and email address to karen.sheldon@gmail.com and ask her to add your information to David’s email list.
If you prefer not to join the email list, you can visit the IMCC website on Thursday or Friday of any week, click on Weekly Meetings, and scroll to Saturday morning sangha. There will be a link to information about the Saturday morning speaker and topic for the current week.
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church is located at 4215 Grinnell Ave / Boulder CO 80305

Weekly Online Sunday Morning Meditations
David is also currently leading a weekly Sunday morning meditation online from 8:00-9:00 am, Mountain time. This gathering is offered on a drop-in basis and it is not necessary to register in advance. The session consists of a brief opening, a thirty-minute period of silent meditation practice, and a short dharma talk. The talks are recorded and posted on this website, usually within a few days of when they are given.
When you join the meeting online, you will be muted. We encourage you to turn on your camera if you're comfortable doing so during the meditation, talk and/or discussion, however if you prefer not to do so, that’s fine. If the meeting includes a discussion, you can click “React” at the bottom of your screen and then "Raise Hand" to indicate you'd like to make a comment or ask a question. Once it is your turn, you will be prompted by the host to unmute so you can be heard by the teacher and the group. If you need technical assistance, please contact David and he'll arrange for a volunteer to assist you.
These Sunday morning sessions are part of a 7-day-a-week daily program sponsored by the Insight Meditation Community of Colorado (IMCC). A different teacher leads the online morning meditation each day of the week and uses their own Zoom account.
For information about who’s teaching on a given day and what Zoom account they’re using, check the following link to the IMCC website. Please note that the morning meditation information on the website will be updated weekly on Sundays since teachers sometimes trade days or find substitutes when they are traveling or unavailable for other reasons.

If you would like to be added to David’s email list to receive periodic announcements about the morning meditations and his other offerings, please send your name and email address to karen.sheldon@gmail.com and ask her to add your information to David’s email list.
If you prefer not to be added to the email list, you can go to the IMCC website on any Sunday afternoon and the relevant Zoom account and speaker information for the current week will be posted at this link.
